Coronavirus and Male Fertility

Coronavirus and Male Fertility

Congratulations! Dr. Zaher Merhi was featured in the “Health” section of Babygaga, which went live on March 12, 2021.

In the feature entitled, “The Impact of Coronavirus On Male Fertility: A Conversation with OBGYN Dr. Zaher Merhi”, Dr. Mehri discussed the concerns surrounding coronavirus and fertility, in both men and women, while offering advice for people looking to boost their fertility. Dr. Merhi stated, “Fertility treatments have been using more telemedicine, such as consultation by video or phone. This will reduce the exposure of both the patients and the clinical staff to the virus. Additionally, more and more single women are freezing their eggs because their plans have changed, or they are prioritizing the egg freezing process because now they have more free time (or working from home) and are going on much fewer dates. All patients are following the CDC guidelines when they come to the fertility clinic, so this is very similar to going to any other doctor.”

The feature credited Dr.Merhi as OBGYN, MD, FACOG, HCLD, board-certified OBGYN, and the founder of Rejuvenating Fertility Center (RFC), along with the direct link to his website.
