Samantha received her bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Delaware. She has worked in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology for 5 years as a case worker and a Clinical Coordinator. She is passionate about helping patientsʼ dreams of having a family come true.
IVF Laboratory Manager
Meet Ihad Othman, she is the manager of the embryology lab and senior embryologist at RFC. Ihad received her BS majoring in Biochemistry and her Masterʼs Degree in Biotechnology of Assisted Human Reproduction from the University of Valencia, Spain. She has over 30 years of experience in Assisted Reproductive Technology. Ihad received her first embryology training at The Northwest Hospital in Frankfurt, Germany with professor Siegfried Trotnow who played a decisive role in the establishment of IVF in Germany as he assists with the birth of the first German test tube baby in 1982.
She was also trained at Bourn Hall Clinic in England which was the worldʼs first IVF clinic responsible for the conception of Louise Brown, the worldʼs first IVF baby in 1978. In her IVF journey, she has been instrumental in implementing many of technologies in her brother Dr. Hussein Othman IVF Center, including ICSI, egg and embryo vitrification, blastocyst culture and biopsy.
