DR. ZAHER MERHI, MD, FACOG, HCLD

Medical Director, CEO, Founder

Dr Merhi is the founder and the medical director of Rejuvenating Fertility Center (RFC). He is an internationally recognized fertility doctor, lecturer, editor, and grant reviewer. His training and faculty appointments included Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, NYU School of Medicine, and University of Vermont. He was a Professor at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and the Director of the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) Fellowship program (ACGME accredited). He is currently a Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Maimonides Medical Center in New York. He has 3 American Board certifications in OB/GYN, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and High-Complexity Laboratory Director (HCLD).

Dr Merhi is one of the few Reproductive Immunologists in the country and is an active researcher with an interest in women older than 40 with Low or Diminished Ovarian Reserve- DORDOR (diminished ovarian reserve) (low AMH or high FSH), Stem Cell ovarian rejuvenation, gentle stimulation IVF, natural IVF, and IVF without injectables. He was named “ONE OF THE TOP 2% SCIENTISTS IN THE WORLD.”

His research also focuses on technologies, such as Stem Cell Exosomes, Ozone Sauna therapy, and Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), that could improve egg quality especially in women with endometriosis, immune disorders, and PCOS. Dr. Merhi is also experienced in treating overweight women and those who had weight loss surgery. He is a strong proponent of the LGBTQ+ community and has proudly served the Arabic and Jewish Communities for over two decades.

Dr Merhi was awarded TOP OBGYN Doctor 2019 to 2024, and TOP Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility specialist by the ASRM (American Society for Reproductive Medicine) for many years in a row. He received 4 times a Star Award from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM)

DR. MARCO MOUANNESS, MD, HCLD, RDMS

Dr Marco is the co-founder of RFC, named the world’s most innovative fertility clinic in 2024. After finishing his ObGyn training at the prestigious American University of Beirut, Dr Marco completed his Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) fellowship training with Dr Merhi in New York.

During his training, he received multiple awards for academic achievements and teaching and presented in several international conferences. He published in multiple laparoscopic, urogynecological and obstetrical journals, wrote book chapters about gynecological conditions, and served as a reviewer for several medical journals.

Dr Marco is a published author and expert on several fertility topics such as ovarian rejuvenation, PCOS, endometriosis, recurrent implantation failure, and impact of COVID-19 on fertility and pregnancy. He secured back-to-back oral presentations at the prestigious annual conference of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the latest of which earned him the 2023 ASRM prize paper award for his work on cost-effective medication for ovarian stimulation. He also served as an abstract reviewer at the ASRM conference in 2024.

His clinical research interests include but are not limited to treatments for patients with low ovarian reserve or DOR (diminished ovarian reserve) , ovarian rejuvenation, recurrent implantation failures, fertility preservation, and polycystic ovarian syndrome. Dr Marco has recognized the importance of training the next generation of doctors and the value of giving back to the scientific community at large. In this spirit, he is an ad hoc reviewer for many peer review journals, and he served as a Guest Editor for a reputable reproductive endocrinology journal on important topics such as inclusion of artificial intelligence in the fertility world.

Beside his clinical interest, Dr Marco is a strong supporter of the inclusion of basic sciences into the daily workforce of REIs. To that effect, he recently received his board certification for High Complexity Laboratory Directory (HCLD) by the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB) in 2024 in Embryology, Andrology, and General Lab Management.

DR. NICOLE BROWNE, MD

Dr. Hyacinth Nicole Browne is a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist with over 15 years of experience helping individuals and couples achieve their dreams of parenthood. She brings a compassionate, evidence-based approach to fertility care, combining advanced reproductive science with a deep understanding of each patient’s unique journey.

Dr. Browne earned her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale–New Haven Hospital. She went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility through a combined program at the National Institutes of Health (NIH)Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and National Naval Medical Center, where she conducted research on ovarian function and fertility preservation.

Before joining Rejuvenating Fertility Center, Dr. Browne practiced at several leading fertility clinics, including KindbodyNew England Fertility InstituteHudson Valley Fertility, and the Sher Institute for Reproductive Medicine, where she served as Associate Medical Director. Her clinical and research expertise spans the full range of reproductive care — from IVF and egg freezing to complex endocrine disorders and fertility preservation for cancer patients.

Dr. Browne has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals such as Fertility and SterilityThe Cancer Journal, and The Female Patient. She has also contributed book chapters and lectured nationally on topics including ovarian reserve, reproductive ethics, and fertility preservation.

Recognized for her excellence in patient care, Dr. Browne has received numerous honors, including the Patient’s Choice AwardCompassionate Doctor Recognition, and selection as a New York “Super Doctor Rising Star” featured in The New York Times Magazine.

Dr. Maab Ezz Aldeen is an experienced OB-GYN with specialized interest in reproductive medicine and in vitro fertilization (IVF). She earned her medical degree from Damascus University and completed her OB-GYN residency at Aleppo University Hospital, where she also obtained both the Arab Board certification and a Master’s degree in Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Dedicated to the ethical and scientific advancement of women’s health, Dr. Ezz Aldeen also holds a Master’s degree in Bioethics from King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences. She completed hands-on IVF and micromanipulation training at the Cleveland Clinic’s American Center for Reproductive Medicine, gaining expertise in advanced assisted reproduction techniques.

Throughout her career, Dr. Ezz Aldeen has worked in leading reproductive centers, including King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh, and currently practices in Brooklyn, New York, where she provides compassionate, evidence-based fertility and women’s health care. She also volunteers her time offering free online consultations for OB-GYN patients from Syrian refugee backgrounds, reflecting her deep commitment to accessible care and patient advocacy.

Dr. Ezz Aldeen is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons (WALS), and the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS). Her approach to care emphasizes empathy, ethics, and clinical excellence, helping patients achieve their reproductive goals with trust and confidence.

DR. CARLA WILLIAMS

MD

Dr. Carla Williams is a board-certified gynecologist and holistic women’s healthcare provider, with interest in infertility. She strives to provide patient-centered and individualized care, combining conventional and complementary medical practices. She was born and raised in New York. She attended her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College, in Bronx, New York.

Dr. Williams has undergone, additional training in functional and integrative women’s health with a focus on alternative fertility therapies.
