RFC's Local Monitoring Service lets you complete your cycle monitoring at any of our five convenient locations while your treating physician stays in full control of your care. What Is Local Monitoring?
Local monitoring (also called "outside monitoring" or "remote monitoring") is a well-established practice in fertility care. It allows patients undergoing IVF, IUI, frozen embryo transfer (FET), or other fertility treatments at one clinic to complete their required ultrasounds and blood tests at a different, more conveniently located clinic.
Your primary fertility doctor provides RFC with a monitoring protocol — which tests to run, when to schedule them, and where to send results. Our team follows those instructions precisely. Results are transmitted directly to your clinic the same day so your physician can make timely medication adjustments and treatment decisions.
