Ovarian Rejuvenation with Bone Marrow Stem Cell-Enriched PRP
An advanced treatment that uses your own body's stem cells to try to reawaken dormant follicles — giving women with low ovarian reserve and in menopause a renewed chance at their own eggs.
How This Treatment Can Help
RFC offers a regenerative approach that uses your body's own stem cells to try to activate the follicles your ovaries still hold. There is nothing donor-derived — everything comes from you.
Stem Cell Mobilization
A 4-day course of a medication called G-CSF floods your bloodstream with healing stem cells and growth factors drawn from your own bone marrow.
Intraovarian PRP Injection
A single in-office procedure where your blood, now enriched with those stem cell factors is processed into a specialized PRP and injected directly into both ovaries.
The goal: stimulate follicle growth, improve your AMH and follicle count, and give you the best possible chance of retrieving your own eggs for IVF — or even conceiving naturally.
What Results Can I Expect?
68%
of patients with OVARIAN FAILURE (=early menopause) showed signs of follicle activation within 2–3 months
Evidence from published clinical data
Activation is measured by new follicles appearing on ultrasound or a rise in AMH.
Some patients conceive naturally after treatment.
Others proceed to IVF with improved egg counts that were not possible before.
Results are typically most pronounced in the first 3 to 6 months post-treatment.
81%
of patients with Diminished Ovarian Reserve showed improvement in Ovarian Reserve within 2 weeks
The Treatment, Step by Step
This treatment works in two phases over a single week. First, we spend four days priming your body so your bloodstream fills with your own regenerative cells. Then, in one in-office visit, we concentrate those cells and deliver them precisely where they're needed — your ovaries. Most of the week happens at home; only your first injection and the day-5 procedure take place at RFC.

Phase 1
Days 1–4 · At Home 1 injection daily
Priming Your Body
A 4-day course of G-CSF, a medication used safely in bone marrow medicine for decades, signals your bone marrow to release stem cells and growth factors into your bloodstream. We teach you the simple injection technique then you give yourself the injection at home, around the same time each day. By day five, your blood is rich with the regenerative factors this treatment depends on.

Phase 2
Day 5 · In Office: blood draw then intraovarian injections~45 minutes
The Procedure
1
Blood Draw — Your now-enriched blood is drawn from your arm.
2
Concentration — In our lab, it's gently spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets and stem cell growth factors into a specialized plasma (SCFE-PRP).
3
Ovarian Injection — Guided by ultrasound, a thin needle delivers the concentrated plasma directly into both ovaries — the same precise approach used in egg retrieval.
4
Rest & Recover — You rest for about 30 minutes and go home the same day.
What you should know going in
Is It Safe?
G-CSF has been used safely for decades in bone marrow transplant medicine worldwide.
The most common side effects are temporary bone aching and mild headache during the 4-day phase — these resolve on their own.
No severe adverse effects were reported in published studies of this protocol.
The intraovarian injection carries the same low risk as a routine egg retrieval (1% or less).
Your white blood cell count returns to normal within few days of your last G-CSF injection.
Notes for POI Patients
Your doctor may recommend a short course of estrogen before starting G-CSF to prime your ovaries.
We check your hormone levels beforehand as baseline.
If you take hormone replacement therapy (HRT), you continue it through treatment — never stop without speaking to your doctor.
POI patients can and do respond; results vary. We monitor you closely and adjust the plan to your response.
