DUO STIM IVF

Rejuvenating Fertility Center (RFC) is pleased to offer Duo Stim IVF, a type of in vitro fertilization (IVF) protocol, also known as “double stimulation IVF.” RFC’s team of doctors and fertility experts have over a decade worth of experience implementing Duo Stim IVF, and it’s an exciting option for women struggling to get pregnant.

This method involves two rounds of ovarian stimulation and two egg retrievals in the same menstrual cycle, yes in the same cycle! The goal is to collect as many eggs as possible for fertilization or for egg freezing, which can increase the chances of a successful pregnancy.

In the Duo Stim protocol, the first stimulation is performed during the early follicular phase (when the period starts) of the menstrual cycle, and the second stimulation is performed during the luteal phase (starting the day after the first egg retrieval). The eggs are then retrieved during two separate procedures and fertilized in the laboratory to form embryos.

Duo Stim IVF increases the odds of a successful pregnancy by accumulating more eggs/embryos in a short period of time.

This method has been shown to be effective in most studies especially in older women with low ovarian reserve and can typically be used along with PRP ovarian rejuvenation.
